Provides Photography, Art Direction, Creative Design Management, Senior Digital/Graphic Design, Social Media Strategy, Blogging and Collegiate Level Instruction.

In the area of photography we are well versed in Photojournalistic, Travel, Event, Concert, Behind The Scene (BTS), Lifestyle and Professional Portraits on location and in studio; Photo editing, Photo printing and more. We have photographed large and small events as well as public figures and celebrities.
On the design end our company has a wealth of creativity and an eye for design drawn from a wide variety of creative experiences, including marketing and proposal departments, creative agencies, consulting firms, non-profits, government agencies and in-house graphic design departments. Able to design individually, as a team member or team lead and develop a project from concept creation through final production on-site and remotely. Adept in the visual design of websites, print, digital, multimedia, social media marketing, video editing, research, marketing and coordination and e-learning/courseware projects as well brand development and management.

Art direction, concept design, development and production of an array of graphic products used to promote and market AARP foundation programs focusing on hunger, isolation, housing and income among the lower income 50+ population to build a strong, recognizable visual presence for the foundation in all media.

KPMG –Senior Instructional Designer – Designed for KPMG University Courses

Worked closely with internal clients and course development team to identify scope, objectives, and approach of each eLearning courses. Manipulated copy and images and created high quality graphics to develop and produce courses. Created innovative and accessible PowerPoint slides incorporating animation, audio and video elements. Regularly met with team to provide design ideas and best practices.

Outcomes: Worked remotely on several project teams and delivered all design assets ahead of schedule.

IBM – Global Business Services Team Lead/Senior Designer – Proposal Graphic Design

Lead a team of designers and art direction for Multi-Billion Dollar Federal, Local Government and Private Sector Proposals and follow up oral briefings

Tools: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office and Visio

Outcomes: All proposals delivered on time and most were awarded to IBM.

NASA Goddard Space Flight Center – Senior Graphic Design Consultant – Proposals

Proposal design and layout in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator including cover design and publication branding.

Urban Institute – Senior Web Designer – CMS based website page creation and maintenance

National Geographic Society – The JASON Project – Art Director – Science Textbook Design

Print Design, art direction, design and layout of a middle school science textbook focused on geology. Imagery for flash-based games. DVD cover and stage image.

Tools: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Outcomes: Completed project in half the allotted time and came in under the projected design budget.

Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) – Electronic Publishing Specialist (Graphic Designer)

Responsible for the development of publishing products through document formatting of content, graphic manipulation, and source document conversions. Products included publications, brochures, signage, illustrations, presentations, websites, and promotional materials.

Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) – Video Open Source Officer/Art Director

Wrote articles based on researched, collected and analyzed breaking news from Africa – Ivory Coast, Senegal, Kenya, Nigeria, CAR, South Africa, DRC, etc.; Latin American – Columbia, El Salvador, Nicaragua, etc; and the Middle East – Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, etc.; from foreign media sources including television, radio, Internet sites, newspapers, press agencies, and specialized publications to produce and deliver a daily high video magazine to the Intelligence Community, US foreign affairs community and opensource.gov.

Art Direction for interactive magazine production included video clip research, production and collection, background research, script writing, publication layout, editing and dissemination to opensource.gov, classified and unclassified systems.

Subtitled foreign video in Arabic, Spanish, French, Farsi and other languages to provide English translation for users who were unfamiliar with the source vernacular using transcripts provided by OSC Bureau staff in field locations worldwide.

Used Spanish language knowledge to research intelligence issues in foreign web, print and broadcast media sources. Wrote technical documentation featuring screenshots and video captures demonstrating publication production standards for the daily publication and provided training to department staff.

Tools: Avid, Camtasia, Adobe Audition and Sorensen Squeeze and a proprietary video system to produce and edit broadcast quality video, capture images and create video compilations from foreign media sources

City of Alexandria Government – Supervisory Graphic Artist/Art Director

Managed the day-to-day operation of the print shop. Managed a team of 6 employees including press operators, graphic designers, interns and administrative staff. Created and maintained department budget

Provided graphic design services for all City Departments, Boards, and Commissions. Planned and maintained the printing schedule, managed workflow and assigned print projects three press operators.

Provided customer and project intake services. Estimated printing cost and turn-around times.

Outcomes: Streamlined the Access project status and billing database. Increased customer based through marketing efforts.
